1. Qutub Minar
This is the UNESCO world heritage . Qutb Minar is a 73-metre (239.5 feet) tall tapering tower of five stories, with a 14.3 metres (47 feet) base diameter, reducing to 2.7 metres (9 feet) at the top of the peak.It contains a spiral staircase of 379 steps. Qutubuddin Aibak, founder of the Delhi Sultanate, started construction of the Qutb Minar's first storey around 1199 and was completed by his son-in-law Iltutmish.

The Garden of Five Senses is not just a park, it is a space with a variety of activities, inviting public interaction and exploration. The project, developed by Delhi Tourism Transportation Development Corporation, was conceptualized to answer to the city's need for leisure space for the public, for people to socialize and unwind. 3. Safdarjung Tomb
Safdarjung's Tomb is a sandstone and marble mausoleum in Delhi, India. It was built in 1754 in the late Mughal Empire style for Nawab Safdarjung. The monument has an ambience of spaciousness and an imposing presence with its domed and arched red brown and white coloured structures.

4. Jama Masjid

5. Lodhi Garden
Lodi Gardens or Lodhi Gardens is a city park situated in New Delhi, India. Spread over 90 acres (360,000 m2),it contains, Mohammed Shah's Tomb, Tomb of Sikandar Lodi, Shisha Gumbad and Bara Gumbad,architectural works of the 15th century by Lodis - who ruled parts of northern India and Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of modern-day Pakistan, from 1451 to 1526. The site is now protected by the Archaeological Survey of India

6. India Gate
The India Gate (originally the All India War Memorial) is a war memorial located astride the Rajpath. The monument commemorates the 90,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who lost their lives in World War I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. Originally called All India War Memorial, this is undoubtedly one of the most prominent landmarks in the capital city. The structure is made of red and slightly pale sandstone and granite adding a level of magnificence to the structure.

7. Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia Dargah
People all over the city visit Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia Dargah to find solace and escape from the fast moving life of the capital. It’s an iconic shrine dedicated to the famous saint Nizamuddin Aulia. Qawwalis are organised daily, but the ones on Thursdays and Sundays have a special touch to them, which, believe us, you don’t wanna miss!

8. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib
Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (About this soundlisten) is one of the most prominent Sikh gurdwara, or Sikh house of worship, in Delhi, India and known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan, as well as the pool inside its complex, known as the "Sarovar." It was first built as a small shrine by Sikh General Sardar Bhagel Singh Dhaliwal in 1783, who supervised the construction of nine Sikh shrines in Delhi in the same year, during the reign of Mughal Emperor, Shah Alam II.

9 Humayun’s Tomb
Located in New Delhi’s Nizamuddin East neighbourhood, Haji Begum not only chose the Persian architects who built the monument, but also the location. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Humayun’s Tomb lies on the banks of the Yamuna, in proximity to the dargah of popular Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya.

10. Dilli Haat

11. The Red Fort
The Red Fort, also known as Lala Qila, is one of the most iconic monuments of Delhi. It’s named so due to the red coloured sandstone used in its construction. This one needs to be a part of your next Sunday outing!
