“Amla ka doze har Roz” – RUJUTA DIWAKER

Recently I have read this quote by India's leading nutrition and exercise science expert, Rujuta Diwekar. It actualy inspired me to start having amla as it is winters and it has many benefits which can help in this weather. 


AMLA AS SUPER FOOD 

Indian gooseberry, commonly known as amla, is a rich source of vitamins ,minerals, phosphorous, carotene, vitamin B, protein and fibre.. It has a very mix type of taste with sweet,sour,tangy and bitter flavor.Amla contains vitamin C,iron and calcium.This small has eight times more Vitamin C than an orange, twice the antioxidant power of acai berry and around 17 times that of a pomegranate.(healthifyme)

AMLA in INDIAN MYTHOLOGY 

Amla holds a lot of great religious significance during rituals in the Hindu month of Kartik, that usually falls in between October and November. In many parts of India, it is a practice to offer the fruit as a Naivedya to Lord Shiva and eat it to ward off various respiratory infections 


Amla can be consumed in any foam be it raw,with salt,as a juice, achar(pickle) , sweet murabba or as a candy. In any foam it provide benefit to our body. So here are some benefits of AMLA.
