Some of you might have listen this beautiful song by Bobby McFerrin - "Don't Worry Be Happy" .If not then here are some lines from that song -

" Don't worry, be happy
In every life we have some trouble
But when you worry you make it double
Don't worry, be happy
Don't worry, be happy now ..."

When you worry you make it double "  This is actually true. 
We all live in such a myth that we think that we need this and that to be happy. Is is really true ? Do our happiness is based on things that we want or we can be happy even we dont have anything, any favorable situation. However, happiness is really much closer than we think Winston Churchill had written this famous words :

“When I look back on all these worries, I remember the story of the old man who said on his deathbed that he had had a lot of trouble in his life, most of which had never happened.”


Once I was also like this, like worrying a lot, a lot.  I was the extreme of extreme worriers. Might be the Queen of worry.But...I just don’t want to spend my time worrying anymore because: WORRY IS A USELESS EMOTION !  😜

Here Are Some Ways I Found to Stop Worrying and Stay Calm


  • FEEL THE BEAUTY OF NATURE. This one is self-explanatory. Go outside!! Feel the freshness of air, warmth of sun,power of moon.
  • MEDITATION. Taking some time to find some peace can really help reduce worry in the mind.If you are at peace, brain can scan that too.
  • SPEND TIME WITH YOURSELF. Giving time to yourself is must needed. Or more you can do is to spend time with some one you love - including a pet.
  • GET YOUR HEART PUMPING. Move! Walk. Do anything you can to move your body. Even wiggling your toes can help if you are in a stagnate position.
  • WRITE YOUR WORRIES DOWN. Write down all the shit in your head that is worrying you.
  • SHARE YOUR WORRIES. “A trouble shared is a trouble lessened.” Call a friend. Talk it out.
  • KEEP YOUR HANDS BUSY. Keeping your hands busy and mind distracted. It could help you worry less because you are preoccupied with something.
